Description

AC Nagano Parceiro are a professional soccer club active in the J League. They are from the Nagano prefecture Hokushin region, but consider the entirety of Nagano as their hometown. Presently they are part of the J3 League and their home stadium is the Nagano U Stadium.

The club was founded in 1990 first as the Nagano Elsa Soccer Club by athletes from Nagano Minami High School’s OB soccer club. On the same year they won the championships in Nagano prefecture’s Hokushin League and in Nagaono’s regional final league. They also won the advancement matches and were promoted to Nagano prefecture’s top league.

Few years later, they won the league championships in 1996 and advanced to the Hokushinetsu Football League. In 2007, in relation to their trademark registration, they announced that their new club name would be AC Nagano Parceiro.

In the 2010 season they won the Hokushinetsu League with no losses and were allowed to join the Japanese Football League (JFL).

In 2013 Naohiko Minobe, the former manager of the Tokushima Vortis, took office and Parceiro was crowned the JFL championship the same year. In the 93rd Emperor’s Cup they beat the J1’s team Nagoya Grampus Eight in the 2nd round and in the 3rd round they won against J2’s Giravanz Kitakyushu. Their splendid play helped them advance to a best of 16.

During their first year in the J3 League in 2014 Nagano recruited the former Japan national team player Teruyoshi Ito from the Ventforet Kofu.
That year they finished second in the league and expectations were high that they would quickly advance to J2, but sadly they lost to the Kamatamare Sanuki in their advancement matches.

In both 2015 and 2016 they finished with good results as 3rd in the league. Right now their popularity continues to grow, as they are expected to advance to J2 in the near future.

Their home jersey is orange and their suppliers have been “DELL’ERBA”, “DUELO” and “PENALTY”. Their jerseys and shorts have logos of their local sponsors like “HOKUTO”, “Nagano Toshi Gas”, “The Shinano Mainichi Shimbun” and others.
